Despite the 287's big water freeboard, you'll never have a problem getting onboard when pulled up on a sandy beach. A telescopic bow boarding ladder features a top-rung grab handle and the wide bow walkway features sure-footed Diamond Lustre non-skid. The forward locker is supported with a gas-assist shock. Inside, the anchor stows securely with a lockable cradle. There's room for a line and chain and the forward ladder also stows neatly out of the way.
