Together, and with the expert craftsmanship and advanced materials technology of Island Packet, they created the new L24 line of Family Launches, offering a level of fit, finish, warranty and award winning customer support that has made IPYAmerica’s Cruising Yacht Leader ®.and even air conditioning and reverse cycle heat can be added along with a generator and full cockpit enclosure for season extending boating comfort.

Available in an all-electric model, the L24e, or a diesel powered model, the L24d. The L24e utilizes Piktronik’s revolutionary new 6.5kW, 48-volt steerable e-pod propulsion unit. With programmable digital controls and sets of 6-volt, no maintenance, AGM batteries, cruise times of more than 8 hours are possible. Or, upgrade the L24e with the addition of a Whisper-Quiet 3.5Kw diesel generator that will convert your electric launch into a hybrid for extended running time. The L24d is equipped with the fuel efficient Yanmar Y2M15 engine with a quiet v-drive unit.

Both models are equipped with luxurious fabrics or leather-like upholstery on full length, wrap around seating areas for sofa-like comfort for up to 12 passengers, a galley unit with sink and storage spaces, and a private, pop-up head compartment. Optional accessories complement the lounge-like accommodations to make them even more comfortable and entertaining, like a waterproof marine stereo system, refrigerated drawer and a specially designed, remote controlled hardtop system that lowers as a secure boat cover for dock or trailer.
