The NAUTITECH 40 OPEN was drafted by Marc Lombard, one of the most successful yacht designers in France. Yachts designed by Marc Lombard guarantee perfect sailing performance and seagoing hulls. The elegant and functional design below deck comes from the pen of Stéphane Roséo and his team at Studio Roséo Design.

In the NAUTITECH 40 OPEN, the Nauticat design team in collaboration with star designer Marc Lombard have redefined the living space of cruising catamarans. In the OPEN concept, the normally separated areas of deck saloon and cockpit lounge are merged, thus offering a completely new spacious feel. Since experience has shown that time on board a 40-footer is spent either in the cockpit lounge or the saloon, with both areas sacrificing space, it made sense to redesigned this as one space. This has been made possible through the introduction of a sophisticated soft top system. No dinner or party will ever be ruined by the weather again!

The design team has created optimum conditions for both the smooth sailor and the long-distance yachtsman – no matter the weather. Welcome to the saloon and below deck of the NAUTITECH 40 OPEN. The galley in the saloon is extensively equipped and designed to be practical. All storage compartments and appliances are within easy reach. And since it is much more fun to cook with company, the cosy navigation and seating area is right next to the galley. This is the perfect spot for a coffee or a light lunch and has an excellent view of the entire boat. The hulls house the spacious cabins, fitted with ample cupboards for stowing away clothing and equipment. In the 3 cabin version the port hull is reserved for the owner and includes a large bathroom and a desk for a laptop.
